JAZZ INSTRUMENTS AND JAZZ MUSICIANS

Hello people!!
In this blog I`m going to speak about different types of instruments of Jazz and about Jazz musicians.

JAZZ MUSICIAN

If I make a question about Jazz musicians, I am sure you will answer something about Louis Armstrong and I will not be surprised, because he is one of the best Jazz musicians.

Louis Armstrong:
Coming to prominence in the 1920s as an innovative cornet and trumpet player, Armstrong was a foundational influence on jazz, shifting the music's focus from collective improvisation to solo performers. With his distinctive gravelly voice, Armstrong was also an influential singer, demonstrating great dexterity as an improviser, bending the lyrics and melody of a song for expressive purposes. He was also greatly skilled at scat singing, or vocalizing, using syllables instead of actual lyrics.

DIFERENT TYPE OF INSTRUMENTS

These are the most important instruments:

-Trumpet: The trumpet is a musical instrument with the highest register in the brass family. Trumpets are among the oldest musical instruments. They are constructed of brass tubing bent twice into an oblong shape, and I like it more than the others in the brass family.
-Saxophone: The saxophone is a conical-bored trasposing musical instruments considered a member of the wooding family. Saxophones are usually made of brass and are played with a single-reed mouthpiece similar to that of the clarinet.
-Clarinet: The clarinet is a musical instrument in the woodwing family. The instrument has an approximately cylindrical bore, and uses a single reed. And probably you will prefer the clarinet to the saxophone because for me it is easier to play.
-Piano: The piano is a musical instrument which is played by means of a keyboard and the piano is also popular as an aid to composing and rehearsal. It is composed by a sound box, to which one has added a keyboard, by means of which percuten the ropes of steel with hammers lined with felt producing the sound. And a lot of people have a piano in the house but it takes a lot of space from my point of view.
-Trombone: The trombone is a musical instrument in the brass family. Like all brass instruments, the sound is produced when the player’s vibrating lips cause the air column inside the instrument to vibrate. But I have tried to play the trombone and it was very tiring.

-Double Bass: The double bass, also called the upright bass or contrabass, is the largest and lowest-pitched bowed string instrument in the modern symphony orchestra. Double basses are constructed from several types of wood, including maple for the back, spruce for the top, and ebony for the fingerboard. It`s like a guitar but the guitar is louder and I like it more.
-Drums: The drum is a member of the percussion group of music instruments, technically classified as membranophone. The shell almost invariably has a circular opening over which the drumhead is stretched, but the shape of the remainder of the shell varies widely. It`s very difficult to play. It is an instrument that I like more than the other ones.

There are some other instruments for Jazz but they aren´t so important. Like:
-Conga
-Banjo
-Tuba
-Cornet
-Guitar
